Our client, a professor, was accused of retaliating against a student in a Title IX investigation after suing the University for suspending him without affording himself due process and suspending him in violation of Title IX. The student alleged that the lawsuit and media coverage related to the lawsuit equated to retaliation under university policy. Harrison & Hart, LLC represented the professor during the investigation of that complaint, prepared written briefs, and submitted evidence demonstrating that the professor did nothing more than exercise his right to tell his story. The professor was found to not have retaliated against the student.
