Court Rules UNM Foundation Records are Public

Attorney Nicholas Hart worked with his client to obtain records from the University of New Mexico Foundation regarding WisePies Pizza & Salad’s financial documents. The establishment was part of the UNM Foundation, which they argued made them a private, nonprofit entity and not subject to public records laws. Hart argued that they should be subject to public records laws, and the Court agreed.
